The Xbox One gaming console has received updates from Microsoft since its launch in 2013 that enable it to play select games from its two predecessor consoles, Xbox and Xbox 360. On June 15, 2015, backward compatibility with supported Xbox 360 games became available to eligible Xbox Preview program users with a beta update to the Xbox One system software. The dashboard update containing backward compatibility was released publicly on November 12, 2015.

On October 24, 2017, another such update added games from the original Xbox library. The Xbox Series X/S was released in 2020 and was confirmed to be backwards compatible with the same list of games as the Xbox One at launch. On November 15, 2021, a "final addition" of 76 titles was published as part of the 20th anniversary of the launch of the original Xbox console. Forza Horizon is Xbox Backwards Compatible being a first party Xbox 360 title. This was the first entry in the Horizon series taking place in the rockies environment allowing players to enjoy the thrill of racing on the open road. It's a gorgeous game featuring far distanced backdrops, tons of races and a pile of content to work through. Work your way up in this narrative driven title collecting bands to gain access to better locations and more challenging competitors. Forza Horizon 5 doesn't change the basic structure, and there's still a huge amount of stuff dotting the Mexican map. But it does do a better job of easing you into its mountain of content. You're able to choose which specific types of events to unlock as you progress, so, for example, I preferred to focus on closed-track road races early on before delving into cross-country rallies. I feel like if I stopped playing the game and came back to it weeks later, I'd have a much better sense of what I'd been doing and where would be best for me to spend the next couple of hours.

In turn, that makes me feel better about simply driving around the landscape in search of whatever esoteric quest I might come across. Unlike with 4, I've never felt like I'm wasting my time in Forza Horizon 5, as I always have more of a sense of what I could be working toward. You need to change your tunings and moods, bringing things to do. I like cars a lot and I like the idea of multiplayer, and this game is right on the point. You have a lot of cars to modify and tune to your style, a big open world, reminding me of Ivory Tower's games .

It is very fun to play this one online, big game with a lot of different cars, races and events, it's been awhile since i had so much fun . With a host of content, backed by a fantastic roster of cars that tread the fine line between arcade and simulation perfectly. While the amalgamated UK may be a little too pristine, not completely reflecting reality, it's such a stunning and enjoyable place to race around that any issues are washed away in the utter fun you're having. Forza Horizon 4 is, without a shadow of a doubt, the pinnacle of the series and arguably the best racing game you can buy. For example, in winter Derwentwater freezes over enabling players to drive onto the ice to reach areas that are otherwise inaccessible.

Seasonal changes occur on the Thursday, and each 'season' lasts for a week, so there is plenty of time to enjoy the full experience of each climatic change.
